Youth 4 Disability Leader | Jolt Community Class Cotutor
Samuel has been with Jolt since 2009, moving through different classes and locations around Christchurch, expressing his creativity through dance, and performing on stage.
Samuel is in his second year of Move tutor training, and is enjoying learning the art of teaching, and learning to help others express themselves.
Due to the positive reinforcement of self-awareness from Jolt’s tutors, Samuel has also branched out into theatre work, and is playing drums in a Rock and Roll covers band.
Jolt’s values of creating connection, expression and belonging through the freedom of inclusive dance have also enabled Samuel to be his best self, recently being voted onto the Papanui Student Leadership team.
Samuel is looking forward to seeing you in class, at performances or just saying hello when you next bump into him.
