Renée attended Hagley Theatre Company and graduated from the University of Canterbury with a Bachelor of Education specialising in Performing Arts. After completing her teacher training in 2006 she taught drama at Hillmorton High School then Rudolf Steiner High School.
Renée has been instrumental in the development of Jolt’s programmes since joining the organisation as a tutor in 2005, including in the design and delivery of Move and Jolt Interactive. Renée was the class co-ordinator for 6 years and is currently the Liaison for Pasifika communities and for people with high needs, with funding support from Manatū Taonga Ministry for Culture and Heritage.
